The 5W3H Principle is based on a series of questions that will lead to an understanding of the key project characteristics.
Be sure to document the project characteristic in the Project Plan.
Procedure
Ask the following questions:
- Why is the project being undertaken?
- What will be done?
- When will it be done?
- Who is responsible for accomplishing the project?
- Where will the project team be physically or organizationally located?
- How will the job be done technically?
- How will the project be managed?
- How much of each resource is needed?
